Fishing Reports!
Posted: Saturday, 03/06/10 Uncle Willie and I have been hard at work getting the starboard engine rebuilt this winter. The weather is supposed to look like spring the next few days, so I hope to get more work done in the yard. The Jet should be back in the slip by early April and ready to sail by mid-month. May Stripers are starting to book up so give a call and get in the book |

Posted: Saturday, 11/28/09 Turkey Day provided some fun for myself and my buddy Jim and our kids. Cole, 8, and David, 17, had fun reeeling in blues and stripers early before heading back to the dock before we both got in too much trouble. Friday, was slower than it has been, but the fish were there and were biting before the wind came up very hard. I canceled todays trip due to the gusts to 50 mph predicted. Tomorrow, Sunday we will be back on the Striper grounds. Monday and Wed we are open and I will be ending the 2009 season Thursday. |

Posted: Thursday, 11/26/09 The good fishing continues! John Jackson and crew were aboard Wed morning and had rods bent all day. The first few drifts the bass out numbered the blues. Ed who had never been deep seas fishing until yesterday was surprised by how hard the blues could fight and then shocked the restr of the group by boating a 45" 26 pound striper. After the first two drifts we were half way to a boat limit and had already released a bunch of short bass. The keepers size stripers were better as many were over 30" As the day wore on the blues moved in a bit thicker and the group picked bass and blues all day. In the end we had a boat limit and released over 40 bass along with lots of big blues all on jigs. |
